JSC " Sverdniichimmash» in the near future will hold trials additional boxes for grinding and pressing equipment intended for the production of MOX fuel. The test will take place in the collection with the machine grinding and press. Specially for them to be simulated in line for production of fuel pellets, which construction equipment will be checked for leaks.
These boxes are designed to prevent the release of radioactive aerosols in the zone of potential presence of the operator. Grinding and pressing equipment from Belarusian and Belgian manufacturers is part of a complex on manufacture of tablets MOX fuel. Boxes cover was designed specifically for these units delivered to the company at the end of 2013.
Today, pilot production mode 95%readiness. All the equipment is assembled and waiting merge into a single chain, and then it ’Sverdniichimmash» will begin its testing.
