ANSI (American National Standards Institute) – the system of uniform standards of the industry of the USA, developed by the American National Standards Institute, also applies to the production of abrasive materials and tools

JIS (Japan Industrial Standards) – the Japanese Industrial Standards, a set of requirements which are applicable in Japanese industry, extending also to the abrasive materials, abrasive tools and machines
